Raymond “Ray” Louis Winger, 52, of Princeton died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at VAMC in Beckley.  Born January 9, 1965, in Salt Lake City, UT, he was the son of the late Clarence Raymond Winger and Louise Colleen Anderson Winger.  Ray retired as a sergeant 1st class from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service and then worked as a U.S. Military Contractor.  He is survived by his wife, Darlene Akers Winger of the home; one daughter, Amber Wozab and husband Anthony of Salt Lake City, UT; two step-children, Joe Duffy and wife Lisa of Princeton, and Eva Johnson and husband Jeremiah of Missouri; and six grandchildren.  In honoring Ray’s wishes he has been cremated.  A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017, at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV.
