Scott Hill, 48, of Premier, formerly of Oakvale, died August 17, 2017. Born July 15, 1969 he was the son of John and Mary Toler Hill. He was a volunteer convalescent van driver in McDowell County. Survivors include companion, Lori Osborne; son, Leland Cocus ; step children, Jeremy Beane and Crystal Parkinson; four grandchildren; and sister, Teresa Hill. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 PM, August 23, 2017 at Fredeking Funeral Home Chapel in Oakvale with Rev. Chad Slater officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the service hour on Wednesday.
