Daniel "Danny" Ray Martin

Daniel “Danny” Ray Martin, 58, of Lovern Road near Elgood, WV died Friday, February 15, 2019 at his residence. Born April 2, 1960 in New Castle, IN he was the son of George Richard Martin and Leah Mae Ford Martin both of Speedway, WV. Before becoming disabled Danny worked in construction as a house builder and was of the Protestant faith. In addition to his parents he is survived by one son, Jonathan Martin and wife Ashley of Lovern Road; five grandchildren, Shelby Martin, David Martin, Abagail Martin, Caylee Martin, and Briana Cordill; two brothers, Donald Martin of Princeton, and Alan Martin and wife Wanda of Brushfork. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Fredeking Funeral Service Chapel in Oakvale with Danny’s brother, Pastor Alan Martin officiating.  Burial will follow at the family farm on Lovern Road near Elgood. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Friday.
