Janet Lynn Weaver

Janet Lynn Hale Weaver, 65, of Princeton, WV, went to her heavenly home on Thursday August 8, 2019. Born May 8, 1954, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Perry Mason Hale and Doris Pennington Hale. Janet graduated in 1972 from Princeton High School in 1972 and also graduated from Concord College in 1975.  She also received her Masters Degree from Marshall University. Janet was a elementary school teacher having taught for the majority of her career at Silver Springs Elementary School. When Princeton Primary School opened, she began teaching Kindergarten for the remainder of her career. Janet retired in 2013.  She continued to work as a substitute teacher at Princeton Primary School. She was a member of the Princeton First Church of the Nazarene where she used her love and talent for teaching the Adult Sunday Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Golen Edward “Big Ed” Weaver. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Tyler Mason Weaver, of Princeton, WV.  Special friends, Cindy Campbell and husband Hugh of Hinton, WV, Ronda Thornton and husband Edward of Kegley, WV, and Brandon Bailey of Princeton, WV. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Janet Lynn Weaver, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 12, 2019, from the G.E. Davis Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service with Pastor Charlie Shrewsbury officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oakvale Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.fredekingfs.com.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
