Amber Leigh Southern

Amber Leigh Southern, 31, of Princeton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Born on May 13, 1994, in Princeton, Amber was the beloved daughter of Candace Thomas and Larry Southern. She was a graduate of PikeView High School and a lifelong resident of the Princeton area.

Amber had a deep and abiding love for Jesus and found peace and joy in the beauty of nature. Whether walking outdoors or simply enjoying the world around her, she carried a quiet grace and a strong faith that touched those who knew her.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the unconditional love she gave to her family and friends. In addition to her parents Candace Thomas and Larry Southern (Angela). Amber was a devoted sister to Whitney and Tiffany, and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews: Heidi Mae Lilly, Hayden Marcus Lilly, and Natalie Emma Jean Southern. Her grandparents, Judy and Clayton Southern, Emma Rowe, and Carl Hall, held a special place in her heart, as did her many aunts, uncles, and extended family members.

Amber’s presence brought warmth, light, and compassion to all who knew her, and her sudden passing leaves an ache in the hearts of her loved ones.

Funeral services to celebrate Amber’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Fredeking Funeral Service with Pastor Joey Rowe officiating. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakvale Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
