Obituary

Andrew Nathan Brown, a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, son-in-law, brother-in-law, and friend, passed away on July 9, 2023. Born on September 24, 1988, in Princeton, West Virginia, Andrew was the embodiment of kindness, love, humor, and touching the lives of everyone he met.  Andrew was a loving husband to his wife, Shirley, and a wonderful father to their three sons, Nathan, Ben, and Logan. He was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love for his family. Andrew was the beloved son of Gilbert and Rhonda Brown who he loved dearly and the cherished brother of Tony Brown and his wife, Erica. He was a devoted uncle to their five children, Seirra, Zachery, Sabrina, Skyler, and Lane, whom he loved dearly. He often enjoyed flat-footing in the kitchen floor with his mother-in-law Tena. His love for family extended to his grandfather, June Brown. He enjoyed time with his uncle Draper Brown and his family. Time spent with his Uncle Stacy and wife Cindy and cousins Travis, Austin, and Phonix. He had a great bond with his grandmother Christina. He loved his aunts dearly Jan, Boggie and Pandora and their children. His Maw-maw Barbara Thompson.  He enjoyed time spent with his brother-in-law James, his wife Monica and daughter Nikki.  His relationship with his family was special, filled with shared stories, laughter, and wisdom. This bond was a significant part of Andrew's life. Andrew had a zest for life and a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and four-wheeler riding, going to the river, often combining these activities with his love for back road driving. He enjoyed dancing with anyone that would dance. He loved listening to the oldie’s music. These hobbies were not just pastimes for Andrew; they were a way for him to connect with nature, find peace, and create lasting memories with his family and friends. Andrew's sense of humor was infectious. He had a knack for making people laugh and brightening up any room he entered. His kindness was unparalleled, often going out of his way to help others. He never met a stranger he didn't like. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. He looked up to so many people. Though Andrew's life was tragically cut short, his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. His love for his family, his passions, his kindness, and his humor define his life, not his death. His memory will continue to inspire and guide those who knew him, serving as a testament to a life well-lived.
