Carol Sue Holdren

Carol Sue Holdren, 76, of Lindside, WV, formerly of Lions Road, Cheesy Creek, Elgood, died Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Springfield Center in Lindside. Born February 23, 1942 in Princeton she was the daughter of the late Elbert W. Meadows and Nettie Mae Whitlow Meadows. Carol was a graduate of Athens High School and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Oakvale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Eugene Holdren. Survivors include one son, Darrell E. Holdren of Elgood; and a sister, Deborah Stone of Princeton. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00PM, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the New Zion Cemetery, Cheesy Creek Road with Pastor Terry Lambert officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Thursday. Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:45.
