Charlene Nelson, departed this earth February 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family, to be with Jesus after losing her battle with cancer. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting her, you would know she had a heart of gold. This beautiful lady, loved to dance and could light up a room with her smile. She was an active member of Princeton’s Women of the Moose Chapter. She volunteered her time helping others and she never met a stranger. Born February 23, 1954, in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Joe Waldron and Ethel Whitt Waldron. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph William Waldron and one sister, Joann Waldron Smith. Those left to cherish her precious memory, are her three children, Michelle Nelson Jones and husband Stacy Symns of Oakvale, David Nelson of Oakvale, Kenny Nelson and wife Sherry Clemons of Elgood; Nine grandchildren, Kierstan Anderson and husband Shawn, Brandon Hearn, Joseph Jones, Tyler Jones, Bradley Nelson and wife Destiny, Sabrina Nelson, Autum Clemons, Faith Clemons and William Clemons; Four great-grandchildren, Lyndsey Goad, Khloe Anderson, Dean Bryce Clemons and Samuel Nelson all of whom loved their granny very much. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Charlene Nelson will be held at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, February 7, 2021, from the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service with Pastor Todd Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Elgood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
