Dana Gaye Hubbard, 76 of Murdock Street, Princeton died Friday, February 9, 2018 at her residence. Born in Elgood on September 14, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Charles R. Thornton and Lora Edna Comer Thompson. She was a retired cook for several area restaurants. Dana loved working in her flower gardens as well as going camping and fishing. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Lee Meadows and Jesse Lee Hubbard one son, Steven Meadows and three sisters. Survivors include four sons, Gary L Meadows of Princeton, Rickie A. Meadows and wife Beverly Ann of Elgood, Michael W. Meadows and wife Rebecca Lynn of Bluefield and Danny R. Meadows and wife Linda of Bluewell. Eight Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren. Services to celebrate the life of Dana Gaye Hubbard will be held Monday, February 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM from the G.E. Davis Funeral Chapel of the Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Pastor Terry Easter officiating. Burial will follow in the New Zion Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM
