Danny Ray Whitlow

Danny Ray Whitlow, 64, of Princeton, left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born July 2, 1955 in Mercer County he was the son of the late James and Ethel Marie Whitlow. Danny was a loving husband, son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He retired after 40 years of service with Minova, Inc. Danny loved the Lord, was of the Baptist faith and gave his heart and soul to the Lord 3 years ago.  He loved the outdoors, working in his garage, doing yard work, and mowing his yard on his John Deere Lawn Tractor. He also loved watching wildlife, fishing and old country music. Danny was always willing to help anyone in need, but most of all he loved being with his family and having family gatherings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Tracy Alan Whitlow, sister, Linda Miller, brother, Eddie Whitlow and father-in-law, Charles Miller. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Sheila Miller Whitlow; Two sons, Anthony Miller and wife Lisa of Lerona and Timothy Ray Whitlow and wife Kim of Princeton; One daughter, Cynthia Woody and husband Jessie of Pounding Mill, VA; Four grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart and took extreme pride, Cody Whitlow, Daniel Woody, Kaitlyn Woody and Andrew Miller; Brother, Timmy Lee Whitlow; Very sweet mother-in-law, Lena Miller; Two brothers-in-law who was very dear to him, Alvin Miller and wife Joann and Keith Miller and wife Dreama; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Danny Ray Whitlow will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 15, 2019 from the from G.E. Davis Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Pastor Tony Miller officiating.   Burial will follow in the New Zion Cemetery near Elgood.
