Dewval Nelson Prince, 78, of Bluefield Ave, Princeton, died Monday, February 7, 2022 at Stonerise Beckley. Born February 5, 1944 in Amigo. He was the son of the late Ernest Prince and Reva Walker Prince. Dewval joined the Army and was stationed in Alaska. He was jokester and loved telling jokes and stories to all his family and friends. Dewval loved his family and his country. He was of the Baptist Faith. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Dana Cleo Prince. His children Ernest Prince, Rebecca Smith and husband Thomas and Laura Martin and husband Ron. Grandchildren Amethyst Prince, Gavon Smith, Deklan Smith and Nicholas. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff and caregivers of Stonerise Beckley where he felt right at home. As well as Amedysis Hospice and Hospice of Southern WV. The family has honored Dewval’s wishes and he will be cremated with no services to be held. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.fredekingfs.com.
