Diana Kay Lusk, 70 of Princeton died Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Lewis-Gale Hospital, Montgomery. Born in Princeton on August 30, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Nelson and Mary Viola Hazelwood Nelson. Diana loved her Lord with all her heart and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was formerly employed at Johnston’s Inn in Princeton and previously taught Sunday School at Voice of Calvary Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Billy Joe Lusk, seven brothers, one half brother and one sister. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Samantha Kay Blankenship: Two grandsons, DeeJay Blankenship and Justen Blankenship and fiancé Tori Thompson: Two Great Grandchildren, Addison Thompson and Brenton Blankenship. Also surviving is Larry Lee Nelson and wife Angie who Diana cared for as her own and an ex-son-in-law of 21 years David Blankenship. Sister, Hilda Archambault and husband Weldon and brother Larry Nelson and wife Peggy. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Diane Kay Lusk will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Ryan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Elgood Cemetery. Josh Slaughter, Larry Lee Nelson, Weldon Archambault, David Blankenship, Dean Blankenship and Megan Nelson will serve as pallbearers.
