Dovie Elizabeth Hazelwood

Dovie Elizabeth Hazelwood, 79, of Princeton died Monday October 2, 2023, at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Hospital. Born October 14, 1943, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Otis Craddock and Martha Holland Craddock. Dovie was a devoted homemaker; she took great pride in her cooking skills and had a love for rescuing cats. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Donzie Hazelwood, Granddaughter Erin Hazelwood, and sibling Linwood Craddock. She is survived by her children Donald Hazelwood and spouse Barbara, Angela Hanson and spouse Rodney.  Grandchildren Christina Cochran and spouse Shea, Courtney Hazelwood and Braelyn Hazelwood; Great-grandchildren Aiden Wimmer and Everest Cochran Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Dovie Hazelwood will be held in the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service on Thursday October 5, 2023, at 1 PM with Pastors Max Benson and Jeff Valentine officiating, burial will follow in the Craddock Family Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family from 12 P.M. until the service hour at funeral home. Following the services, the family would like to invite the friends and family to a dinner at Landmark First Church of God 290 Sackett Road Princeton, WV 24739.
