Ezra Cline Burton

Ezra Cline Burton, 82, of Rich Creek, Virginia, died Friday, November 13, 2020 at his home. Born November 20, 1937, in Giles County, Virginia he was the son of the late Ezra Ural and Gertrude Price Burton. Ezra was employed by the Virginia Department of Transportation. He enjoyed coon hunting and being outdoors. He was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Oakvale. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son Carl and daughter Wanda. He is survived by his wife Tootie Burton. Daughter Diane Carol Tate and husband Stanley. Grandchildren Brad Tate and wife Angie, and Jordan Tate. Great Grandchildren Deanna, Thomas, and Lori. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ezra Burton will be held at 6:00 PM November 16, 2020 from Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Smith officiating.  Due to the Governor’s mandate, masks and social distancing, will be required. Friends may visit with the family from 5 PM until the service hour at the Church on Monday. Graveside Services will be held at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, Virginia on Tuesday November 17, 2020 at 11 AM. Those attending are asked to be at the cemetery by 10:45 AM.
