Florence Ann Dooley

Florence Ann “Puddin” Dooley, 61, of Vinton, Virginia died on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Sheila S. Strauss Hospice house in Roanoke, Virginia. She was born June 26, 1964, in Princeton to the late Paul Tommy Adams and Pearlie Mae Bird Adams. Puddin loved her family, especially her grandchildren whom she was playing softball with days before she became ill.

 In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death her husband Jim Dooley and brother Chad Adams. She is survived by one son John Baker Jr. and wife Samantha. Her greatest pride and joy her grandchildren Cassadee and Rowan Baker. Siblings Steve Adams and wife Sandy, Tommy Adams and wife Doris, Diaza Brown, Sue Jones and husband Don, Rad Adams and wife Francis, Sister-in-law Pam Adams. Best Friend Bonnie Rodriguez Galvan and husband Javier and their daughter Adreona. 

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Florence Ann Dooley will be held Friday May 29, 2026, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale.  Burial will follow in Oakvale Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family from 1 PM until the service hour at the Funeral Home.  Online Condolences may be shared with the family via www.fredekingfs.com.
