Ginger Anne Redden Williby, 77 of Oakvale, became a child of God on Saturday March 29, 2025, at her home after a long battle with ALS. Ginger was born on November 21, 1947, to the late Dubree Redden and Mary “Cecil” Redden. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings June Sheets and Alan Redden. Grandchildren Kee-Kee Montana and McKenzie Beth and Great Grandchild Milah Rayne-Truee’. Ginger was a faithful Christian attending Glen Lyn Church of Christ, and Goodwyn’s Chapel Church of Christ, before starting her own Sunday school titled BAKSA, in which she developed curriculum to study for her great grandchildren. She studied her Bible daily. She served as a question writer for the National Bible Bowl Competition, a Sunday school leader, baptized several of her Grandchildren and marked Bibles to give to her family. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Larry Wayne Williby, Children: Debra June Williby-Walker, Daniel “Danny” Ray Williby. (Sheila Marie Fredeking) and Tressie Louise Williby. Grandchildren: Marcus (Rhanda), Moriah, Rae (Michael), Taylor, Zachary (Alyssa), Jared, Marshall (Blanca), and Benjamin. Great Grandchildren: Layla, Braydin, Jayce, Kian, Sophia, Alayshia, Mateo, Evelyn, Luna and one on the way Ivory. Siblings Linda Pendleton, Dubrena Mullins, Susan Kula, Eddie Redden and Ronnie Redden. A Host of Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ginger Anne Williby will be held Tuesday April 1, 2025, at 1 PM at Fredeking Funeral Service with Pastors Jim Mullins, Tony Reed, and Jeff Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Oakvale Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday March 31, 2025, from 6 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
