Helen Frances Alley, 84, of Princeton passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born July 3, 1938, in Elgood, to the late Jasper and Mabel Comer. Helen worked 18 years for the Mercer County Board of Education. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George (Frank) Franklin Alley, a daughter Kathleen Peak, two brothers, Bennett Comer and Jasper Everett (Cook) Comer and a sister Evelyn McCroy. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth (Michele) Alley, and Thomas (Tina) Alley; Grandchildren, Kelly (Paul) Pilkins, Brittany Peak, Brianna Alley, Katie Alley, Sarah Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Andrew Thomas and Brooklyn Alley; Great-grandchildren, Bentley, Caleb, Paisley, Taylor, Kyndal, and Houston; Sisters, Rozella McCormick, Lena Mae Wyrick, and Dorothy (Gene) Meadows and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Helen Alley, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be, Thomas Alley, Kevin Murphy, Paul Pilkins, Scott Moulder, Joe Keatley, Mike and Joe Soucy. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.fredekingfs.com.
