Howard “Arch” Wade Hilling, 68, of Princeton, died peacefully Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born April 14, 1957, in Rochester, NY. He was the son of the late Rev Kenneth Hilling and Helen Hilling. Arch was an Electrician and was a member of the IBEW working on various construction jobs. He was thankful for the friendships he had established in the community; this brought him great enjoyment. He loved spending time with his family and friends. While his health permitted, he loved the outdoors and his boxers Cali and Berkley.
Those left to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Lisa Hilling, son Heath Hilling and companion Kaylene. Sister Carol Lindamood (Rick), Brother Jim Hilling (Paula). Step-Grandchildren Teagan and Gage Lester. Nephews and Nieces Jermy Hilling (Shannon), Jason Hilling (Tonya), Tracy Farmer (Kevin), Kelly Watts (Adam), Josh Lindamood, Jessica Cox (Joe), Hunter Moses (Tori), Jared Crews (Megan)
Services to celebrate the life of Arch Hilling will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday January 2, 2026, in the Chapel of the Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Pastor Rick Lindamood officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery. Friends may visit with the familyFriday from 12 Noon until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mercer County Animal Shelter 961 Shelter Road Princeton, West Virginia 24740 . Serving as Pallbearers will be Jermy Hilling, Jason Hilling, Hunter Moses, Jared Crews, Joe Cox, Josh Lindamood, Adam Watts, Eli Hilling.
