James Alfred Hammonds

James Alfred Hammonds, 84, of Princeton, died Friday August 30, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital with his family by his side. Born July 13, 1935 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Thomas Alfred Hammonds and Beatrice Richards Hammonds. James worked various jobs in the area and enjoyed helping anyone who needed it.  Surviving are his Children, Martha Christian, Linda Matthews, David Hammonds and Jack Hammonds. Step-Children Roger, Kenneth and Lisa Hazelwood  7 Grandchildren and 9 Step-Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Step Great-Grandchildren Funeral services to celebrate the life of James Hammonds, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 3, 2019, from the G.E. Davis Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service with David Boone Speaking.  Burial will follow in the Oakvale Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from noon until the service hour at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.fredekingfs.com.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
