Joanne Waldron Smith, 68, of Oakvale, gained her Angel wings on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She will be celebrating Jesus birthday with him in person this year, and with the loved ones she has so dearly missed. She was born, March 20, 1952, to the late Cecil Joe Waldron and Ethel Whitt Waldron. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph William Waldron.  She is survived by her husband, Michael Allen Smith of Oakvale; Her children, Ronda Small and husband Thomas of Princeton, Janet Dobbins and husband John of Evant TX, Angie Woody and husband Keith of Oakvale and Robby Pertee and significant other Crystal of Elgood; Her grandchildren, Anthony Small, Dustin Warner, Logan Woody, Sierra Pertee, Riley Pertee and Sophie Woody her Princess in training as Joanne would often tell her; Great-grandchildren, Holden Small, Carson Warner, Audrey Warner, Carter Small, Levi Barie, Waylon Warner; One sister, Charlene Nelson which she truly adored; Her babies as she told everyone,  which were her dogs, Honey Bee, Lucy, Pepper, Neegan and Alfred; Also, her outdoor animals, Fiona the mule, Gabby the donkey, Princess the pony and Sammy her pot belly pig. She retired from Lowes in Princeton. Joanne was a very active member with the Women of the Moose in Princeton where she was the Senior Regent. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Joanne, will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 1 P.M. from the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service, with Pastor Todd Gray officiating.  Burial will follow in Elgood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from Noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Online Condolences may be shared with the family via www.fredekingfs.com. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  The Smith family is being served by Fredeking Funeral Service, Oakvale.
