Judy Dianna Symns

Judy Dianna Symns, 72, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Heritage Hall in Rich Creek VA. She was born Sunday November 03, 1946 in Kelly’s Tank, WV to the late Leonard G and Mary L. Symns, Judy spent most of her life in her hometown of Kelly’s Tank, WV where she was raised before moving to Heritage Hall in Rich Creek, VA

Judy attended school at the Willowton School in Kelly’s Tank. She was a member of the Saunders Grove Baptist Church. Judy enjoyed playing Bingo, Singing (her favorite songs being 99 ½ Wont Do and Walk with Me Lord), Shopping and Mostly being the resident family babysitter. Her pride and joy was assisting in the care giving of the majority of her nieces and nephews. Judy was full of live and love and she always appreciated the opportunity for a good laugh. Her laughter could fill a room. Judy’s favorite places to dine were Red Lobster and Ryan’s.

In addition to Judy’s parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles D. (Linda) Walker, Sr. three sisters Betty (Jack) Hoston, Maxine (Leroy Mitchell, Cardella (William) Hoston. Judy is survived by one brother Tommy G. (Jennifer) Symns and three sisters, Alice (Shelley) Hall of Arlington VA, Drexel (Everett) Scott of Bluefield WV, Annette (Wallace “Dick”) Robertson of Princeton WV: four aunts Carol Symns, Joan (Lane Ferguson, Madge (Warren) Gray, Betty (James “Bo”) Symns a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. One special friend and caregiver Maggie Odems. You may call on the family at Saunders Grove Baptist Church Kelly’s Tank on Saturday May 25, 2019 from 11 AM to 1 PM a service to celebrate the life of Judy will follow at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Kelly’s Tank Community Cemetery
