Karen Sue Comer Thomas, 63, of Dayton Hill Road, Princeton was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born February 19, 1954 in Mercer County she was the daughter of Lexie Inse Hill Comer of Christian’s Ridge and the late Bennett Oliver Comer. She was a former employee at Princeton Community Hospital Housekeeping Department. Karen was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Oakvale and had been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a person who loved humor, kidding with someone, just a person you liked to be around. She also liked watching movies. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Billy O. Wyrick of Princeton; one granddaughter, Ashley Wyrick; one grandson, Brandon Wyrick; one sister, Ruby Canterbury of Christian’s Ridge; and one brother, Eddie Comer and wife Linda of Princeton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Faith Baptist Church in Oakvale with Pastor Terry Lambert and Pastor David Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at the New Zion Cemetery at Cheesy Creek. Men of the Faith Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the Faith Baptist Church on Wednesday, from 10:00 AM until the service hour.
