Larry Joe Eagle

Larry Joe Eagle, 74, of Kellysville WV, was reunited with the love of his life, Wanda Gale Eagle Saturday April 16, 2023. Born December 8, 1948, to late Emory Mason and Ella Louise Eagle.  Larry was a proud Vietnam Veteran and a 50 Year Member of IBEW Local 466. Larry enjoyed farming, raising animals, his daily card games with Squeaky and Missy, watching football games and playing football games with Harper and Kylie. Larry could be found watching westerns when he wasn’t eating at Dolly’s Diner, attending auctions, flea markets and car shows. One of Larry’s prized possessions was the 1968 Chevrolet Truck that his dad purchased new. Other than his loving wife of 49 years Larry was proceeded in death by his mother, father, and his brother Charles Eagle (Buck). Those left to cherish Larry’s Legacy are his brother Mason Keith Eagle, sister Netra Calvert and husband Gene. Larry’s daughters Anita Varner and husband Kenneth, Shawnna Pettrey and husband Buddy, Rita Boyd and husband John, Lesley Neal and husband Kenny, and Michele Eagle, 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Larry, will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday April 20, 2023, at the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service burial will follow in the Neely Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday April 19, 2023, from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.    Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.fredekingfs.com.
