Lena Bailey Miller, 90, of Princeton died on Sunday July 30, 2023, at WVU Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 13, 1933, in Peel Chestnut Mountain McDowell County to the late Frank and Della Bailey. Lena was a devoted homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Oakvale Freewill Baptist. Lena loved to spend time with her family from outings to game time. She was a wonderful and beautiful person who is going to be missed dearly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles Miller Sr, Son Charles Miller Jr, Siblings Everett Bailey, Walter Bailey, Ray Bailey, and Phyllis Pearcy. Son-In-Law Danny Whitlow, Grandchildren Tracy Whitlow, Shannon Whitlow, Jason Scott and Melissa Miller, Brother and Sister in Laws, Cecil Pearcy, James Clowers, Zelda Bailey, Sarah Bailey, and Pat Bailey. Those left to cherish her memory include her Children Alvin Miller (Joann), Keith Miller (Dreama) and Sheila Whitlow all of Princeton. Siblings Donnie Bailey (Carol) of Coaldale, George Bailey of Bluewell and Judy Clowers of Princeton. 10 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Lena Miller will be held Friday August 4, 2023, at 1 P.M., from the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service, with Pastors Joe Sweeney and Anthony Miller officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery. Timothy Whitlow, Cody Whitlow, Daniel Woody, Jessie Woody, Isaac Perdue, Dakota Auton, Jacob Redden and Caleb Yarber will serve as pallbearers.
