Linda Lou Barton

Linda Lou Barton 79 of Cove Hill Lane, Princeton died Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at WVU Princeton Community Hospital. Born in Logan County on June 15, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Marie Jackson Goodman. Linda attended Mt. Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Odd, WV. and was a devoted homemaker. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Barton, son, Robert Barton, grandchild, Amethyst Dawn and 7 siblings, Helen, Paul, James, Hobart, Bill, Bob and Christine. Survivors include her son Gary W. Barton and his wife Tayna.  3 Grandchildren, Santana Blevins and her husband Matt, Skylar Barton and Jacob Barton. One Great Grandchild, Elijah Blevins. One sister, Shirley Hall and one brother, Gene Goodman. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service with her son Pastor Gary Barton officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Mount Cemetery, Pipestem.
