Lois "Wilma" Owens

Lois “Wilma” Owens, 89, of Princeton died peacefully on Sunday August 27, 2023, at Princeton Health Care Center. Wilma was born January 11, 1934, in Princeton to the late Charles Rastus Thompson and Lydia Hill Thompson. She worked for 19 years at the Maiden Form Corporation. In addition to his parents, she is preceded in death by her husband George Taylor Owens, Children Oscar and Michael White, Grandson Derek Brinkley. 7 Sisters and 3 Brothers. Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter Georgia “GiGi” Brinkley and husband Dayton, Stepdaughters Cynthia Hager and Linda Lydic, Grandchildren Trevor White and wife Stephanie, and Khea Johnson 9 Great-Grandchildren, Sister Helen Neely of Oakvale, Special Niece Rhonda Moreno, and Special Nephew Gibby Lester and wife Norma numerous other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Lois “Wilma” Owens will be held on Friday September 1, 2023, at 11 AM from the chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service with Reverend Lyle Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family Thursday August 31, 2023, from 5 PM-7 PM.
