Lorna Dale Conner

Lorna Dale Conner, 61, of Princeton, died suddenly Friday, October 11, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born June 23, 1958, in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Helmondollar and Nancy Carol Purdy Helmondollar. Lorna worked for many years at Andy Clark Ford until she became a Teacher at Pipestem Christian Academy. She was an active member of Cooks Chapel Baptist Church in Pipestem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Grandparents who helped raise her Thelma and Ed Purdy. She is survived by her loving husband Gerrall Conner, Sisters Lisa Pruett and Patricia Douthat, Brothers Ronnie and Michael Helmondollar, Her Stepmother Virginia Helmondollar, cousins Marvin Purdy and Linda Bentley: Nieces and Nephews Jennifer and Rebecca Pruett, Conor and Isabel Douthat, Matthew, James and Owen Helmondollar. Her dogs Percy and Merlin. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Lorna Conner, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 15, 2019, from the Cooks Chapel Baptist Church in Pipestem with Pastor Dallas Peyton Jr. and Pastor Terry Easter officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Zion Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from Noon until the service hour at the church.  Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.fredekingfs.com. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
