Margaret E. Davis, 75, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021, after her courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born October 3, 1945 in Glen Lyn, Virginia, Margaret was the daughter of the late Fred and Audessa Thompson. She was a graduate of Narrows High School where she was a member of the Choral Group. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and homemaker. While her health still permitted, she loved working on her roses, cooking, photography, taking drives in the country, bird watching and most especially spending time with her family. Margaret was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Princeton. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, George C. Davis, her daughter Donna Prillaman and husband Nelson, her son Brian Davis and wife Nicole, her four grandchildren: Makenna and Joshua Prillaman, and Kalyn and Kaden Davis, siblings: Neta Beasley, Gale Thompson, and Freda Smoot. In addition to her parents, Margaret was also preceded in death by siblings: Joyce and Lois Thompson, Duane Thompson, Melvin Thompson, JoAnn Vaught, and Ralph Thompson. Due to Covid concerns, a private ceremony for the immediate family will be held on Monday, April 12 at the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Pastor JB Hurt officiating.
