Mary Ruth Miller, 79, of Elgood, WV died, Monday, April 17, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Mercer County on March 29, 1938 to the late Morris Edwards and Gertrude Ferguson Edwards. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son; Jeffery Glen Miller and one grand-daughter; Tammy Farmer. Mary was a homemaker and loving mother to nine children. She was member of the Gospel Light Faith Church in Kellysville, WV. Left to cherish her memory are four daughters; Lisa Miller, Kathy Farmer, Janet Miller and Darlene Meadows all of Elgood, four sons; Ricky Miller and wife Barbara, Henry Miller and wife Margie, Ray Miller and wife Mary, and Robert Miller, all of the Elgood area. She has 13 grand-children, 17 great grand-children, and one great-great grand-child. Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the G.E. Davis Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Pastor Ginger Neely officiating. Burial will follow at Elgood Cemetery in Elgood. Pallbearers include Steven Miller, Ricky Lee Miller, Josh Church, Ryan Barrett, Bobby Crews, and Kevin Ferguson.  Friends may call at the funeral home between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017.
