Mildred Carol Jones

Mildred Carol Jones, 75, of Ingleside died peacefully May 6, 2022, at her home with her loving family by her bedside. She was born February 20, 1947, in Gary to the late Turman Hylton and Dolly Mae Wall Hylton, Mildred attended Rogers Street Community Church while her health permitted. She loved to dance and sing, was an avid Hank Williams Jr. fan. Mildred loved dogs and cats. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Lee Jones, siblings Gilbert Hylton, James Hylton, Ocella Belcher, Vada Martin, Rose Maxwell, Jerry Hylton, and Phyllis Bailey.  Those left to cherish her memory are her Children: Marty Lee Jones (Tina), Lisa Coalson (Jerry), Tony Jones (Malinda), Selena Blankenship (Robert). Grandchildren: Andrea Combs (Justin) that she raised. Ashley Stewart (Brandale), Natasha Farmer (Nathan), Tanner Jones, Brandi Cline, Evan Coalson, Tiffany Underwood (Brandon), T.J. Jones (Rikki Leigh), Hunter Jones, Summer Mabe (Mark), Cheyenne Yates (Hunter). Great-Grandchildren: Teagan, Levi, Mia, Dustin, Camden, London, Savannah, Brantley, Lennox, Braxton, Rhailynn, Bradon, Gauge, Landon, Remington, Nevaeh, Gideon, Raylinn, and Annabelluah. Four Siblings also survive, Bill Hylton (Marie), Pauline Collins, Curtis Hylton (Linda) and Linda Canterbury. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mildred Jones will be held Tuesday May 10, 2022, at 3 P.M. from the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service, with Pastor Ginger Neely officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery off Elko Road, Ingleside.  Family will serve as pallbearers.
