Nancy Jean Jones

Nancy Jean Jones, 70, of Princeton, died Friday, August 15, 2025, at Bluestone Health and Rehab. Born December 31, 1954 at Ingleside to the late Orville Earnest Shorter and Gladys Virginia Shorter. Nancy worked for many years in the laundry department at Princeton Community Hospital. Nancy loved spending time with her husband of 53 years Sanford Albert Jones Jr. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by several siblings.  She is survived by her husband Sanford Jones Jr, Her daughter Jo Ann Hagerman and husband Jerry, and her son Johnny Jones. Grandchildren Brittany Quesinberry and fiancé Fletcher Bartling, and Austin Quesinberry and wife Hannah. 5 Great Grandchildren Taylend Seal, Brody Bartling, Easton Bartling, Paislee Quesinberry, Addison Quesinberry. Siblings Dana Shorter and wife Barbara, Alice Harry, Roy Shorter, Barry Shorter (Tammy), and Lewis Shorter. Graveside Services to celebrate the life of Nancy Jean Jones will be held Sunday August 17, 2025, at 2:30 PM at New Zion Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1 P.M. until 2:15 P.M.
