Norma Jean Basham

Norma Jean Basham, 80, of Princeton went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at her home. Norma was born January 20, 1942, in Oakvale to the late Clarence Copper and Martha Hill Cooper. Norma was a faithful member of East River Baptist Church formerly Faith Baptist Church. She loved working in the garden and loved flowers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Nancy Brown, Georgie Bays, Kenneth Cooper. Survivors include her loving children Diana Jean Halsey and Deanna “Dee Dee” Baldwin. Grandchildren Jeff Halsey Jr and wife Mya, Wendy Halsey, JoAnna Brown and husband Ced, and Leanna Kyle and husband Mike. 11 Great Grandchildren, and her twin sibling Janie Gasman. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Norma Jean Basham will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 3 PM at East River Baptist Church 1865 Goodwyns Chapel Road with Pastor Tony Miller officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
