Patricia Ann McClanahan, 78, of Cheesy Creek Road, Princeton died peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at her home. Born March 24, 1943, in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the Clarence Brooks and Virginia Shelton Brooks. Patricia worked as a school bus driver and a teacher’s aide. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband Aubrey McClanahan, and son Patrick McClanahan. Left to cherish her memory are her four loving children, Eric McClanahan, Tamela Kelley, Pamela Desmond and Alma Wheeler; Loving grandchildren, Tabitha Canterbury (Steven), Lynsey Poindexter (Josh), Timothy Kelley (Destiny), Ashton Jones, Zoe Jones, Tiffany Hagerman (Candi); Ryan and Adam Wheeler Loving great-grandchildren, Leland Basham, Alivia Basham, Lincoln Grey, Brayden Kelley, Sarah Grey, Jasper Basham, Toben Kelley, Charlie Canterbury, Aubree Poindexter, Amelia Kelley, Anthony and Amber; Sister Drema Akers (William) Several loving nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Patricia will be held at 7:00 P.M., Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Bramwell House of Prayer with Pastor Joey Rowe officiating. Honoring her wishes following the service she will be cremated. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 P.M. until the service hour at the church.
