Patty Fay Crews, 62, of Elgood, West Virginia, passed away suddenly on January 14, 2024, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born December 15, 1961, in Princeton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert Thompson "Bobby" Crews (1999) and Elizabeth Farmer Crews (2017). She is also preceded in death by a sister, Jo Ann Farmer (2015), a brother, Micheal Glen Crews (2009). She is survived by two daughters, Angela Suzanne Crisp and Tiffany Ann Crisp (Jeremy Nethercutt); grandchildren Madelynn Breanne Clarkston, Braxton Gage Peterman, Logan Andrew Ray Clarkston, Skyllar Danaee Crisp; great-grandchildren Ryder James Michael Caudill and Walker Lane Peterman, and father of her children James Robert "Smokey" Crisp, all of Ashland, Kentucky; brothers Terry Wayne Crews (Charlie) of Elgood, WV, Tommy Cecil Crews (Cathy) and Dale Ray Crews (Sandra) both of Jonesborough, Tennessee, Robert Thompson "Bobby" Crews, Jr. of Virginia; special nephew, Timothy Jo Waddell of Raleigh, North Carolina; special cousin, Donald Joseph Farmer of Princeton, West Virginia; many cousins, nephews, and nieces. Patty was a hard worker, with her last job as a housekeeper in the hotel business. She was a lover of all animals and rescued several elderly cats and dogs and cared for them until their death. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. Per her request, the body will be cremated. Services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Fredeking Funeral Home in Oakvale, West Virginia. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with a memorial service starting at 3:00 pm.
