Richard Lee Brown

Richard Lee Brown, 91, of Green Valley died on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Princeton Community Hospital. He was born October 3, 1929 at Hardy to the late Benjamin Brown and Cleo Ratliff Brown, Richard was retired from the railroad where he worked for 36 years as a car man. He was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church. Richard enjoyed to coon hunt, was an avid fan of boxing and cooking. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife’s Joan Turner Brown and Pansy Brown. Two daughters Patricia Coburn and Sharon Matherly. One son Dwight D. Brown; four sisters Wilma Kirby, Violet Thomas, Gladys Thomas and Thelma Bailey. Four Brothers Henry Brown, Ken Brown, Emmett Brown and James Dayton Brown. He is survived one son Richard D. Brown and wife Carolyn; Two Brothers Arlin Brown and wife Betty and Junior Brown. One sister Mae Hazelwood.7 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Great Grandchild Funeral services to celebrate the life of Richard Brown will be held Thursday December 3, 2020 at 11 AM from Faith Baptist Church in Oakvale with Pastor Mark Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
