Robert Bowman

Robert Bowman, 73 of Fresno, OH, formerly of Princeton, WV, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 27, 2020. He was the son of the late Virginia E, Emerson (Bowman) and step-father, Robert Emerson. Robert served in the U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Joyce Malita Bowman (Hill);  One son, Shawn Bowman (Ginger Freetage); Two daughters, Melissa Bowman and Dawn Bowman; One granddaughter, Savannah Ellis all of OH; Four sisters-in-law, Olivia Nowlin, Lisa Pennington and husband Rick of Elgood, WV, Kathy Terry and husband Jimmy, of Princeton WV, Deborah Harris (Arnold Harmon) of Oakvale; Two brothers-in-law, Michael Hill of Elgood WV and Darrin Hill of NC; A host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 5, 2020, at the New Zion Cemetery with Rick Pennington officiating.   Military honors will be provided by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard.  Those wishing to attend the services are requested to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.
