Roy Levi Byrd, 67 departed this life February 5,2023 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born February 19, 1955 at Mercer Memorial Hospital in Princeton WV to the late George Byrd Sr and Gladys Byrd. In addition to his beloved parents, he was preceded in everlasting life by  One Grand Daughter: Celia Arguello Four Brothers: Daniel Byrd, George Byrd JR, Luther Byrd (peewee) One Sister: Brenda Price He leaves to cherish his memory: Five Children: Ivy Byrd, Anna Byrd, Paula and Manuel Arguello Carrie and Darien Bland, Jennifer Byrd Two Brothers: Bruce and Elizabeth Byrd, Joseph and Melissa Byrd Three Sisters: Michele and Scott Barrett, Melissa and Tony Roberts, Melena and Charles Johnson, Four Grand Children: Reese Kirchhoff, Jaidyn Arguello, Zirialei Arguello, Wyatt Arguello Followed by an abundance of nieces and nephews great nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Roy Byrd will be held Friday February 10, 2023, at 3 PM. from the Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service, Burial will follow in Oakvale Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family from 5 PM – 7 PM Thursday February 9, 2023. at the funeral home. Family will serve as pallbearers.
