Terri Lynn Harris, age 43, of Princeton, West Virginia, passed away on December 24, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. She was born on January 15, 1982, to the late Michael Everett Harris and Deborah K. Harris.
Terri fought bravely for three and a half months, showing incredible strength and courage until the very end. She now rests peacefully in the arms of Jesus, free from pain and suffering.
Terri was a loving mother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend. Her family meant everything to her, especially her children, who were the absolute light of her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Peggy Carter, Everett Harris, Norma Hill, and Calvin Hill; her aunts, Debby Nowlin, Freda Harris, Connie Combs, and Virginia Carter; her uncle, Mike Hill; her cousins, Amy Shannon, Crystal Combs, and Tony Harris; and her great-niece, Raelynn White.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two beautiful daughters, Abigail Billings and Isabella Billings, both of the home; her Pops, Arnold Hartman; her sister, Tina Lucas, and husband Cody of Princeton; her boyfriend and the father of her children, Timothy Billings; and his children, Larry, Dustin, and Tracy Billings of Bluefield, West Virginia.
She is also survived by her nieces, Ciara, Nevaeh, and Alyssa Poore; her nephew, James Carter; and her great-niece, Amairella White, all of Princeton; her uncle, Ricky Carter; her aunts, Malita Bowman of Ohio, Kathy Terry (Jimmy), Lisa Pennington (Rick), and Olivia “Kiki” Nowlin, all of Princeton; and her cousins, Michelle Lawson, Robert Lawson (Debbie), Melissa Bowman, Dawn Bowman, Shawn Bowman, Jay Nowlin (Rachel), Sabrina Nowlin, Trevor Shannon, Peggy Blackburn, Larry Hylton (Mindy), Teddy Lambert, and Monica and Brandon Combs, along with many extended cousins.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of the MICU at Ruby Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care they provided to Terri. Their compassion, dedication, and unwavering efforts meant more than words can express. Special thanks are also extended to the staff at Select Specialty Hospital for their care and support.
Terri will be remembered for her strength, her deep love for her family, and her unwavering devotion to her children. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 3, 2026 at 11 A.M. in the chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service with Pastor Rick Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery.
