Wanda Jean Conn

Wanda Jean Conn, 62, of Oakvale died peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 20, 1963, in Princeton, WV to the late George Monroe Edwards and Viney Edwards Brunk.

Wanda loved making quilts and doing embroidery. She was a caretaker for her mother for many years.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Morris “Mouse” Edwards and Della Thompson, and 8 Grandchildren and great-granddaughter Nova Dickens. She is survived by her children Amy Rees, Tina Conn, and Aaron Hubbard. Her grandchildren Kameron Dickens, Kaleb Dickens, Leland Dickens, and Xavier Dickens. Her siblings Connie Reese of Princeton, Jewell Lester of Elgood, John and Donna Edwards of Johnson City, Tennessee, Richard Edwards of Elgood, David Brunk of Elgood, Gloria Jones of Tennessee, Betty Massie of Wytheville, Michael and Mary Brunk of Camp Creek. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive Friends may visit with the family on Thursday June 18, 2026, from 6 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.  Following the visitation the family will honor her wishes to be cremated.
