Willmoth Harry Obituary

Willmoth EmmaDean Harry, 83, of Cheesy Creek Road graduated to her heavenly home January 22, 2023. EmmaDean was born May 27, 1939 in Elgood WV. She was the daughter of the late John Willis Hill and Laura Thomas Hill. She was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Kellysville WV. She served as pianist, treasurer, and deacons’ wife for many years. She worked for the Mercer County Board of Education as a secretary of Athens High School and Pikeview High School for more than forty years. She loved singing, gardening, canning food and sitting on the front porch with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her spouses Jimmy White and Roscoe Harry, daughter Rhonda Pollard Meadows siblings, Mildred Dunagan, Cara Bolton, Calvin Hill, Kathleen Conner, and Donzel Hill. Survivors include one sister Phyllis Easter and husband Leslie, grandson Jacob Pollard and wife Ashley, Special Niece who she considered a daughter Robyn Nester and husband Daniel. Steve Meadows and wife Danetta and their daughter Samantha Meadows Vaught. She had a host of Nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was blessed to have wonderful caregivers Ashley, Helen, Patty, Robyn, Sally, Sandy, and Sharon. Funeral services to celebrate the life of EmmaDean Harry will be held Saturday January 28, 2023, at 1 P.M. at East River Baptist Church in Oakvale, with Pastors Terry Easter, Tony Miller and Rick Pennington officiating.  Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 PM noon until the service hour at the church. In lieu of flowers the family request donation may be made in her honor to Mary Cradle 401 College Avenue, Bluefield WV 24701 or Hospice Compassus 1330 Mercer Street Princeton WV 24740 Online Condolences may be shared with the family via www.fredekingfs.com.  Arrangements by Fredeking Funeral Service, Oakvale.
